Role Responsibilities
Conduct routine or complex prenatal, obstetrical and gynecological examinations
- and perform, interpret and appropriately respond to results of diagnostic testing and screening to include fetal assessments.
- Obtain comprehensive patient history
- develop plan of care and establish treatment plans by incorporating factors such as patient preferences, health literacy, plain language, and socio-economic conditions
- and maintain medical records.
- Develop tailored educational programs to address the specific needs of each patient on topics such as preterm labor/birth, abnormal pregnancy, grieving related to life events, postpartum care, STI, endometriosis, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
- Provide screening, counseling and referrals to patients experiencing complex health issues, such as infertility, abnormal testing, acute/chronic gynecological conditions, and challenges of menopause.
- Systematically review current clinical practices
- identify new clinical guidance from specialty, regulatory and MTF directives for implementation
- and identify areas for improvement based on measurable data.
- Collaborate with clinic leadership and staff to develop/implement performance improvement plans that align with organizational goals
- participate in peer reviews and case discussions
