The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Southwest Region, Human Resource Management Office, Labor and Employee Relations Division in Fort Worth, TX, is hiring a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist at grade FV J.

As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist, you will serve as a technical authority in union/management relations and advisor to management on collective bargaining services.

You will provide advisory support for the negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements and interpret the Federal Labor Management Statute provisions. The role involves direct interaction with union officials, including serving as an agency negotiator in mid-term bargaining.

You will also oversee the full range of labor and employee relations activities, including grievances, appeals, conduct, discipline, and performance management.

Salary: $121,519 per year.

Qualification

Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (FG/GS-13/FV-I). Specialized experience includes negotiating collective bargaining agreements, advising management on employee relations (conduct, performance management, discipline), and interpreting laws and regulations to support a collaborative labor-management environment.

  • Experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements.
  • Experience providing advice on employee relations including conduct, performance management, and discipline.
  • Experience interpreting laws, regulations, and policies related to labor relations.
Role Responsibilities
