This Physician (Radiology-Diagnostic) position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center, part of the Military Treatment Facilities under the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in Houston, Texas. The role involves evaluating imaging test results for diagnosis, patient care, research, and education.

Qualification
To qualify for this GP-14 Physician (Radiology-Diagnostic) position, you must be a US Citizen and meet the education, licensure, and residency requirements below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, transcripts are required.
- Degree: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from an accredited school in the US or Canada. Foreign medical graduates need permanent certification by ECFMG or a Fifth Pathway certificate.
- Licensure: Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a US state, DC, Puerto Rico, or a US territory.
- Graduate Training: At least one year of supervised clinical experience (internship or first year of residency) in an accredited hospital or institution.
- Residency Training: Successful completion of an accredited residency in Diagnostic Radiology, plus equivalent experience and training equal to at least 4 years. Experience cannot substitute for required residency.
- Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross.
- Must fulfill non-privileged professional credential requirements.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required; this position is a Testing Designated Position subject to pre-employment screening and random drug testing.
- Pre-placement medical examination and immunization screening required, including Hepatitis B for direct patient contact.
- Must consent to seasonal influenza vaccination or provide a recognized exemption.
