The Air Mobility Command, through the 87th Force Support Squadron, is hiring a Food Service Worker (MVO) to join the food truck group at McGuire AFB, New Jersey.
This Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) post involves driving a motor vehicle to transport and hand over food and beverages across Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. You’ll grab orders over the phone, explain menu items, assemble orders, and make sure timely delivery of freshly ready foods.
This role also covers vehicle maintenance verifies, assisting with basic food prep, cleaning tables and counters, and handling cash transactions. This part-time job suits people who enjoy buyer service, have a legitimate driver's license, and can tackle physical jobs like lifting up to 40 pounds.

Salary & Compensation

Qualification
This role is unseal to all U.S. Citizens and eligible candidates. You must have skill in maneuvering and driving vehicles, insight of defensive driving, and the aptitude to abide by oral instructions. Background in cash handling and dealing with the public is needed.

Role Responsibilities
- Run a motor vehicle to transport and provide food and beverages throughout Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
- Confirm items are delivered according to caliber standards (hot/cold, timely).
- Agree to patrons' orders over the telephone and outline menu items.
- Submit orders to cooks and assemble orders for transport.
- Perform and document vehicle operator maintenance (review fluid levels, tire pressure, clean vehicles).
- Support with getting ready easy food items for delivery/carryout/restaurant.
- Clean, slice, chop, and dice vegetables and other food items.
- Delete soiled dishes, trays, and utensils; clean tables and counters; sweep floors; vacant and sanitize waste cans.
- Get payment, hand over right adjust, verify cash on hand, and wrap up cash reports.
