Salary & Compensation
Salary / Pay Package: $37,830 - $58,638 per year.
Qualification
Candidates for Industrial Maintenance Technician I should have a high school diploma or equivalent and some experience in building maintenance or a related trade. The county values hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various conditions.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or on-call shifts.
Role Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on county buildings and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues.
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders and repairs.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
