Job Description

The Department of the Navy is hiring an Electronics Mechanic Supervisor I to lead the Electronics Shop at Pearl Harbor Naval Base, Oahu, Hawaii.

In this role, you will supervise the repair, removal, field changes, modifications, reinstallation, and checkout of systems and equipment assigned to Nuclear or Non-Nuclear Sections onboard submarines or surface crafts.

Salary & Compensation

Salary / Pay Package: $51 - $59 per hour.

Qualification

This WS-11 position requires demonstrated ability to lead or supervise, as this is the screen-out element. Your experience and training must show the quality level of knowledge and skill needed for the duties. Emphasis is on quality, not length, of experience.

  • Ability to lead or supervise (screen-out element; minimum 2 points required).
  • Experience in electronics repair, modification, and checkout of systems on submarines or surface crafts.
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in electronics maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret plans, blueprints, and technical instructions.
