- Applicants must attach PC 832 Firearms and Arrest certifications.

Role Responsibilities
A Sheriff's Correctional Deputy
- Lateral performs a range of custody and security duties within the Santa Clara County correctional system. The work directly supports facility safety and the safe movement of inmates.

- Transport inmates from Sheriff's Office correctional facilities to and from court, medical facilities, and other locations within and outside the County.
