Commander, Navy Region Hawaii (CNRH) is the regional coordinator for all shore-based Navy personnel and shore activities in Hawaii, serving as the Navy’s representative to the Hawaii community. The Navy in Hawaii has grown into a major fleet concentration area with more than 25,000 Sailors and 10,000 civilian employees working in over 60 commands on Oahu and Kauai. Navy Region Hawaii at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam provides key services to maintain safety and vital infrastructure, contributing more than $2 billion annually to the local economy. CNRH oversees installations including Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands, and offers a range of services from emergency management to environmental stewardship.

As of July 2026, Commander, Navy Region Hawaii continues to support fleet readiness and community engagement.
