About COMMANDER NAVY REGION MARIANAS

Commander, Navy Region Marianas (CNRM) is a shore installation management command under Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). As the regional coordinator for all shore-based naval personnel and activities in the Marianas, CNRM oversees Naval Base Guam and supports joint operations with Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz and Andersen Air Force Base. The region's mission is to enable the warfighter, support families, and build regional partnerships across Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). CNRM provides base operating support including port operations, air operations, security, public safety, and quality of life services for service members and their families.

As of July 2026, Commander, Navy Region Marianas continues to execute its mission of providing shore readiness capabilities in the Indo-Pacific. Recent activities include participation in Exercise Citadel Pacific 2026, a force protection exercise held June 22-30, 2026, and the return of USS Frank Cable (AS 40) to Apra Harbor after sea trials on June 26, 2026. The region also supports quality of life initiatives, environmental stewardship, and the Mariana Islands Range Complex (MIRC).
