The U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) is a direct reporting unit of the U.S. Army responsible for delivering quality base support from the Strategic Support Area, enabling readiness for a globally responsive Army. IMCOM's mission is to provide superior base support, ensuring the highest quality of life for Soldiers, Families, and Civilians. The command manages the Army's infrastructure, integrates base operations services, and supports warfighter readiness and deployability. IMCOM's vision is that every installation delivers superior base support, enabling readiness and the highest quality of life for its community. The command is led by Commanding General LTG James M. Smith and is headquartered as part of the U.S. Army Installation Management Command, with garrisons worldwide.
