What are the restrictions on post-retirement employment?

Retirees returning to work with an SBCERA participating employer must not exceed 960 hours per fiscal year, and there are waiting periods: 60 days for safety members under 50, and 180 days for general members. A Returning Retiree Certification form must be completed.
