The San Bernardino County Employees' Retirement Association (SBCERA) is seeking a Pension Administration System Assistant Manager to manage, assist, and enhance its Pension Administration System (PAS) and related applications. Under the direction of the Details Systems Operations Manager..

This role provides technical leadership.. Supervises team.. Oversees day-to-day PAS operations.. Guarantees information integrity.. Arranges system upgrades.. And partners with internal stakeholders.. Vendors.. And business units to optimize workflows and solution delivery.

This role is critical to sustaining the technology that backs upside calculations, participant solutions, employer reporting, and core retirement operations for over 50,000 participants and beneficiaries.

Qualification

Role Responsibilities

Administer, uphold, configure, and monitor the Pension Administration System (PAS).nEnsure system stability, information accuracy, performance, and security under SBCERA standards.nCoordinate, test, and validate system fixes, patches, releases, upgrades, and enhancements.nResolve PAS issues through troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.nWork with firm units to analyze and improve workflows related to advantages, employer reporting, and accounting functions.nTranslate enterprise conditions into functional and technical specifications.nOversee PAS data integrity activities, including audits, validation, and reconciliation.nSupervise staff responsible for reports, data extracts, dashboards, and queries.nServe as a primary liaison with vendors, consultants, and external offering providers.nProvide leadership, coaching, supervision, and performance evaluations for assigned staff.
