Yuma County seeks an Administrative Assistant (Grade 8) to support the Superior Court in Yuma, Arizona. In this role, you will perform and coordinate a variety of secretarial, technical, organizational, and administrative activities to keep the work unit running smoothly.

Qualification
Applicants for the Administrative Assistant (Grade 8) position should have experience in secretarial, administrative, or clerical support. The role requires knowledge of office procedures, the ability to coordinate workflow, and proficiency in data entry and record keeping.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative workflow of the business unit, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Apply specific knowledge of policies and procedures to organize and coordinate work.
- Relieve the work unit of routine administrative detail by handling correspondence, filing, and scheduling.
- Exercise initiative and independent judgment in performing administrative duties.
- Resolve problems, analyze data, and make decisions within the scope of the role.
- Track departmental records, compile data, and prepare reports.
- Process and compile records, data, and other materials used by staff.
- Perform specialized functions within the work unit as assigned.
- Coordinate communication between the work unit and other departments or external parties.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
