This non-permanent, full-time role works Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 p.m. To 12:30 a.m., providing critical after-hours assist to children, youth, and families across King County. Function in this role involves field and office perform, including transporting and traveling with infants, toddlers, teens, and youthful adults.

Salary & Compensation
Salary: $66,072 - $93,288 per year.
Qualification
You must encounter the qualifications for a Social Offering Specialist 2 or 3 in training. This role requires experience in child welfare, social solutions, or a related field, and the capacity to operate independently during after-hours shifts.
- Background in child welfare, social offerings, or a related human solutions field.
- Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m. To 12:30 a.m.
- Legitimate driver's license and ability to transport clients.
- Willingness to function in the field and office settings.
- Aptitude to tackle crisis situations and create sound decisions under pressure.
- Powerful communication and documentation skills.
- Must pass a background inspect as called for by DCYF.
- In-training positions available for candidates who don’t yet gather the packed SSS3 qualifications.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supply after-hours social offerings to children, youth, and families in Region 4 (King County).
- Respond to emergency calls and assess safety demands.
- Run field visits to homes, schools, and other locations.
- Transport children and youth as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, schools, and community partners.
- Document case activities and maintain correct records.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Take part in staff meetings and training sessions.
Conditions & Requirements
- Must be fit to perform the specified schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 4:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
- This is a non-permanent, full-time post.
- Must have consistent transportation and a sound Washington State driver's license.
- Capacity to travel within King County and occasionally beyond.
- Must pass a criminal background review.
- Compliance with DCYF policies and procedures.
