Salary & Compensation
Pay / Cover Package: $15 - $16 per hour.
Qualification
You must have current lifeguard certification, including CPR and first aid credentials. Background in aquatic rescue or public safety is preferred.
- Present American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or equivalent.
- CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid certifications.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment swim test and physical agility assessment.
- Powerful swimming skills and comfort in unseal water conditions.
- Excellent observation and communication abilities.
- Capacity to perform weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Minimum age of 16 years (or as needed by state law.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Role Responsibilities
Monitor beach and swimming spheres to prevent accidents and enforce safety rules.
- Perform water rescues and supply emergency medical care as needed.
- Administer first aid and CPR to injured or distressed individuals.
- Uphold lifeguard equipment and ensure readiness for emergencies.
- Educate the public on water safety and beach regulations.
- Aid with lost children, small injuries, and public inquiries.
- Complete everyday reports and incident documentation.
