Job Description
The U.S. Army Joint Counter-UAS Office (JCO) is hiring a Budget Analyst to cater to within the UAS Office Executive Division in Alexandria, Virginia. This role is section of a Frank Recruit Authority solicitation for the Department of Defense workforce.
The analyst will assist the Joint Interagency Task Force 401 by managing budgets related to Counter-small Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-sUAS) across assigned Capability Management Offices. This role is perfect for experienced federal budget professionals who can oversee intricate financial needs and communicate funding updates to leadership.
The role is full-time, permanent, and not eligible for telework or remote function.
Salary & Compensation
Salary: $121,785 - $158,322 per year.
Qualification
This role is unseal to U.S. Citizens. You must have one year of specialized expertise equivalent to the GS-12 level in the federal solution, such as overseeing budget development, analyzing funding actions, and advising budget guidance. No substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Grow budget recommendations to address complicated financial requirements involving multiple organizations.
- Arrange budget development under the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES).
- Communicate funding updates to managers about budget alters impacting scheme execution.
- Validate supporting documentation by confirming compliance with leadership guidance.
- Assist as Budget Analyst for Joint Interagency Duty Force 401 related to C-sUAS budgets.
- Advise organizational leaders on budget guidance to back funding decisions.
- Analyze funding actions to confirm precise financial records.
- Supervise budget development for assigned projects.
