Building Attendant (Part-Time) is listed by City of San Pablo (CA). The City of San Pablo is hiring Building Attendants (Part-Time) to join the Community Offerings Department.
These roles involve opening and closing city facilities, setting up rooms for events and rentals, monitoring activities, and assisting the public and visitor groups. Incumbents function under close supervision from a full-time Recreation Division team participant.
This role suits people who enjoy hands-on facility perform and direct public interaction. Assignments rotate across various town facilities, and shifts include evenings and weekends.

Salary & Compensation
Pay / Settle Package: $17 - $20 per hour.
Qualification
You must have the equivalent of completion of the twelfth grade and prior background dealing effectively with the public. A sound California Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record is needed.
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade (high school diploma or GED).
- Prior experience working with the public in a customer offering or facility setting.
- Legitimate California Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to aid with scheme registrations and check-ins.
- Capability to monitor programs and make sure compliance with facility rules.
- Willingness to perform basic custodial duties and room setups/take-downs.
- Flexibility to operate evenings and weekends as assigned.
- Must pass a background investigation, fingerprinting, and pre-employment medical exam (covering TB test).
Role Responsibilities
Unseal and close metro facilities according to schedule.
- Place up and grab down rooms for rental groups, events, and programs.
- Monitor facility activities and enforce established rules and procedures.
- Assist the public and member groups with inquiries and directions.
- Perform elementary custodial jobs such as cleaning and secondary maintenance.
- Back plan registrations and check-in processes.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Finalize other related tasks as assigned.

Additional Information
This is a part-time, non-benefited role with an hourly pay of $16.50 to $20.06.
