The U.S. Army Installation Management Command is hiring a Caterer (NF-03) to work at Dragon Hill Lodge in Yongsan, South Korea. This position is open to U.S.
Citizens who currently reside in Seoul or within commuting distance and hold a valid visa stamp. The caterer will plan and coordinate private functions, including weddings and formal events, by preparing contracts, ordering decorations, and advising on protocol.

Qualification

- Education leading to a bachelor's degree directly related to the duties is preferred but not required.

Role Responsibilities
Prepares contracts for private functions using established costs.
- Orders flowers, decorations, and other items for events.
- Prepares invitation orders, party worksheets, and contracts.
- Assists patrons with time schedules for weddings and other formal functions.
- Analyzes requirements of the occasion and recommends suitable services, menus, and beverage items.
- Coordinates with club manager, food service staff, and patrons.
- Draws up contracts making commitments for requested functions.
- Serves as technical advisor on correct protocol procedure.
Conditions & Requirements
Appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) and all pre-employment checks per AR 215-3.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- One-year probationary period is required.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other situations.
- Must provide two references (not related) who can furnish information on qualifications and character.
- This is a local vacancy for U.S. citizens eligible under country Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA). Ordinarily residents in Korea are not eligible.
