CHILD & YOUTH PROGRAM ASSISTANT (CDC), CY-01/02/RFT, ALL CAMPS

To qualify for this Child & Youth Program Assistant role at Camp Butler MCCS.. You must gather the following minimum qualifications: be at least 18 years longstanding.. Have a high school diploma or equivalent.. And be fit to express.. Go through.. And pen English fluently.

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Capacity to talk, review, and compose English; track verbal and written instructions; communicate effectively.
• Aptitude to lift and transport children and objects up to 45 pounds independently and over 45 pounds with assistance.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and annual physicals thereafter.
• Give evidence of immunizations and be free from communicable disease.
• Obtain and uphold present Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certifications.
• Obtain and keep up existing food handlers certification.
• Finalize all DoD training conditions within specified timeframes, such as orientation, initial training, DoD Standardized Virtual Lab School Training, and annual ongoing training.
• Obtain and uphold a National Agency Verify with Inquiries and State Criminal History Repository Inspect (Tier)
• with Childcare background inspects.

Assist as a Child and Youth Program Assistant in one or more Child and Youth Programs (CYP).

• Keep up control and account for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years.
• Help with planning, coordinating, and carrying out activities for program participants, including set and person activities.
• Put in place developmentally proper curriculum and practices under instant supervision.
• Form a program environment that sustains participant interest and boosts positive interactions.
• Assist arrange, set up, and uphold indoor and outdoor activity fields and materials to accommodate day-to-day schedules.
• Assist participants with unique projects and homework.
• Perform significant target-level responsibilities under close supervision of a supervisor or higher-graded employee.

Must be a U.S. Citizen, national, or owe allegiance to the U.S.

• Must be currently residing in Okinawa or arriving on formal public sector orders to Okinawa.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and annual physicals.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and food handlers certifications.
• Must complete all DoD training needs within specified timeframes.
• Must obtain and keep up a National Agency Review with Inquiries (NACI) and Childcare background verifies.
• This role is a Test Designated Position (TDP) subject to unannounced random drug testing.
• Must have a negative drug test consequence before and during employment.
• Straight deposit of full NET cover is mandatory.
• May want to obtain a State Owned Vehicle (GOV) operator's permit within 30 days of supervisor's direction.
