• Pass a pre-employment physical and annual physicals thereafter; offer evidence of immunization.
• Obtain and uphold present Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certifications.
• Obtain and maintain existing food handlers certification.
• Finalize all DoD training conditions within specified timeframes, such as orientation, first, DoD Standardized Virtual Lab School Training, and annual ongoing training.
• Obtain and keep up a National Agency Verify with Inquiries and State Criminal History Repository Inspect (Tier)
• with Childcare background inspects.
• For intermediate level (CY-01): six months background in a USMC or other military childcare/youth program and wrapped up DoD Standardized Entry Level Module Training, OR six months know-how plus nine semester hours of college credit in related fields (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education).

Assist as a Child and Youth Program Assistant in one or more Child and Youth Programs (CYP).

• Uphold control and account for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years.
• Aid with planning, coordinating, and carrying out activities for program participants, covering set and individual child activities.
• Carry out developmentally proper curriculum and practices under immediate supervision to supply straight care, education, and development.
• Form a program environment that sustains participant interest and advances positive interactions with other children, youth, and adults.
• Support get ready, set up, and maintain indoor and outdoor activity domains and materials to accommodate day-to-day schedules.
• Assist participants with special projects and homework.
