Marine Corps Community Offerings (MCCS) at Camp Butler is hiring a Child & Youth Program Assistant (SAC) to back child and youth programs across all camps in Camp backs, Japan.
This part-time post (CY-01/02) centers on the safety, development, and engagement of children and youth from 6 weeks to 18 years old. You’ll help with planning and carrying out activities, implementing developmentally fitting curriculum, and keeping up indoor and outdoor program areas.

Qualification
To qualify for the Child & Youth Program Assistant role at Camp Butler MCCS.. You must encounter minimum needs such as being at least 18 years longstanding.. Holding a high school diploma or equivalent.. And being capable to talk.. Go through.. And write English. The grade level (CY-01 or CY-02) depends on your expertise and education, with specific pathways for entry, intermediate, and target levels.

- Finalize all DoD training requirements within specified timeframes, covering orientation, first training, DoD Standardized Virtual Lab School Training, and annual ongoing training.

Role Responsibilities
Cater to as a Child and Youth (CY) Program Assistant in one or more Child and Youth Programs (CYP).
- Uphold control and account for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years.
- Help with planning, coordinating, and conducting activities for program participants, such as set and person child activities.
- Put in place developmentally proper curriculum and practices under instant supervision to offer straight care, education, and development.
- Form a program environment that sustains participant interest and advances positive interactions with other children, youth, and adults.
- Support prepare, set up, and keep up indoor and outdoor activity fields and materials to accommodate day-to-day schedules.
- Assist participants with unique projects and homework.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Conditions & Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen, national, or owe allegiance to the U.S.
- Must be currently residing in Okinawa or arriving on authorized state orders to Okinawa.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and annual physicals thereafter.
- Must supply evidence of immunization and be no-cost from communicable disease.
- Must obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and food handlers certifications.
- Must wrap up all DoD training conditions within specified timeframes.
- Must obtain and maintain a National Agency Verify with Inquiries and State Criminal History Repository Review (Tier)

- This role is a Test Designated Position (TDP) subject to unannounced random drug testing; must have a negative drug test consequence before and during employment.
