- CO-07: One year of graduate education OR superior academic achievement (GPA 3.0/4.0, class rank upper third, or honor society membership) OR one year of specialized know-how equivalent to 3-05/GS-5.
- CO-09: Master's degree or two years of graduate education OR one year of specialized background equivalent to CO-07/GS-7.
- General expertise: function in projects, programs, or assignments showing ability to analyze problems, collect records, strategy work, resolve conflict, and communicate effectively.
- Specialized know-how (CO-07/09): understanding of agricultural scheme policies, fact-finding, analysis, and evaluation techniques.
- Combinations of education and experience may qualify at each grade level.
Role Responsibilities
Carry out office activities and functions for one or more program spheres administered in the county.
- Interpret and explain procedures, program regulations, and forms to producers and agency personnel.
- Employ web-based software submissions to keep up producer figures and routine automated forms.
- Blueprint and transport out assigned duties with initiative and judgment.
- Resolve issues encountered in plan administration.
- Support with evaluating program operations and recommending improvements.
- Examine submissions, supporting documents, and scheme reports for compliance.
- Offer client solution to agricultural producers and the public.
