Salary: $143,913 - $197,200 per year.

This interdisciplinary role may be filled by a General Engineer (0801), General Physical Scientist (1301), Operations Research Analyst (1515), Mathematician (1520), or Computer Scientist (1550). You must meet the elementary education needs for one of these series and have at least one year of specialized expertise equivalent to the ND-4 settle band (GS-12/13) in federal offering or equivalent private/public sector background.

Oversee and expand a portfolio of science and technology efforts supporting long-range sensing objectives.

• Lead a group of scientists and engineers.
• Engage in strategic planning and technology roadmapping to align S&T development with warfighter needs and DoD priorities.
• Propose research notions and define/handle statements of perform toward new capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with external institutions to advance S&T concepts and advance involvement of developmental systems in military exercises.
