Firefighter EMT

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid driver's license, and be an Arizona Certified Firefighter. State of Arizona or National Registry EMCT or Paramedic certification is required, along with a current CPAT card (within 6 months of hire date). Strong computer skills are also required.

Respond to fire alarms and emergency calls for fire suppression.

• Provide emergency medical care as an EMT or Paramedic.
• Operate and maintain fire apparatus, equipment, and station facilities.
• Participate in training drills and continuing education.
• Perform fire prevention inspections and public education activities.
• Maintain physical fitness and readiness for duty.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Work a 48/96 shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
