Job Description

Olympic College is recruiting for Geography Adjunct Faculty to train introductory and sophisticated geography courses on a part-time basis at its Bremerton Campus and other locations. This role reports to the Interim Dean of STEM and involves preparing syllabi, providing instruction, grading, and keeping up student records.

This role is best-suited for educators who can communicate geographic concepts effectively and employ technology in teaching. Adjunct positions are filled on a quarter-by-quarter basis from a continuous candidate pool. Candidates remain active for 12 months and may be contacted when vacancies occur.

Qualification

A Master's degree in Geography is needed. A related Master's degree with substantial graduate-level Geography coursework may be considered. Computer abilities such as Microsoft applications are needed.
