Qualification

Candidates must have education and experience equivalent to an associate's degree in criminal justice.. Public administration.. Or a related field.. And three years of experience in law enforcement identification services.. Including one year in a supervisory capacity.

  • Associate's degree in criminal justice, public administration, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in law enforcement identification services (fingerprinting, photographing, records management).
  • At least one year of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of California penal code and identification regulations.
  • Ability to operate automated fingerprint identification systems (AFIS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid California driver's license.
  • Pass a background investigation and drug screening.
Role Responsibilities

Supervise and train identification bureau staff.
