The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) is hiring an IT Customer Support - Entry expert to work within the Details Technology Division's Offering Desk Set.
This role is set in Thurston County – Olympia, WA, and provides agency-wide IT aid for the agency's critical firm systems, computers, and mobile devices. The Data Technology Office exists to enhance company procedures by handing over IT answers to agency-wide employees.
The IT Office is staffed under four chief groups: Service Desk, Application Development, Infrastructure and Systems Management, and Security. This role is best-suited for someone early their IT profession who wants to earn hands-on experience supporting a diverse variety of technologies in a public solution environment.
Salary & Compensation
Salary: $64,248 - $86,436 per year.
Qualification
This entry-level IT back role needs a combination of education and/or expertise that reveals the capacity to perform the responsibilities. Generally, this covers an associate's degree in info technology or a related field, or equivalent background in user offering and technical assist.
- Know-how providing technical aid for computer hardware, software, and mobile devices.
- Knowledge of Windows working systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to troubleshoot frequent IT matters and escalate intricate issues.
- Robust customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to function effectively in a staff environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Give first-level technical back to agency workforce via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, printers, mobile devices, and software submissions.
- Install, configure, and keep up desktop hardware and software.
- Document and track assist requests using a ticketing system.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations and accounts.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Uphold inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
- Abide by established IT policies and procedures.
Conditions & Requirements
- Must be capable to perform onsite in Olympia, WA.
- Full-time employment with occasional after-hours support may be called for.
- Must be fit to lift and shift computer equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a criminal background review.
