Salary: $56,154 - $72,998 per year.

To qualify for this GS-8 Lead Firefighter role, your resume must reveal at least one year of specialized expertise equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the Federal offering or equivalent in the confidential/public sector. • Certifications needed (copies must be handed in): Firefighter I/II, Airport Firefighter, HazMat Operations, HazMat Technician (must obtain within 1 year), Driver Operator Pumper, Driver Operator ARFF, Driver Operator Aerial, Fire Officer I, Fire Inspector I, Fire Instructor I.
• Certifications must be awarded by DoD, IFSAC, or ProBoard.
• National Registry Emergency Medical Technician Basic (NREMT-B) (BLS) certification required.

• Establish on-scene control procedures (e.g., zone control, decontamination) at hazardous material incidents.
