Lifeguard, City of SeaTac Job

Salary: $28.83 - $35.18 per hour.

To qualify, you must be at least 16 years old and a high school graduate or existing student in solid academic standing. No prior lifeguard experience is called for, but certification may be needed before early.

• Graduation from high school or current student in strong academic standing.

• Capacity to obtain lifeguard certification (if not previously certified).
• First aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Sturdy swimming expertise and comfort in water.
• Aptitude to communicate effectively with the public.
• Client solution experience is a plus.
• Must pass a background inspect.

Monitor aquatic activities at Angle Lake beach to confirm safety.

• Manage swimmers and enforce pool/beach rules.
• Render first aid and assist accident or injury victims.
• Rescue persons in distress and keep up order.
• Uphold aquatic equipment in decent operating order.
• Maintain the beach orderly, tidy, and litter-free.
• Offer high-quality buyer offering to all patrons.
• Reply participant inquiries in person and over the telephone.
• Supply details about aquatic plan policies and schedules.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
