Job Description
City of SeaTac is hiring a Lifeguard for the summer season at Angle Lake beach, situated at the SeaTac Community Center. Under the supervision of the Aquatics Coordinator or Assistant Beach Manager, you’ll monitor public activities, guarantee patron safety, and uphold equipment and grounds.
This role is perfect for high school students or graduates who enjoy functioning outdoors and serving the community. You’ll give high-quality customer service, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies.

Salary & Compensation
Salary: $28.83 - $35.18 per hour.
Qualification
To qualify, you must be at least 16 years old and a high school graduate or existing student in solid academic standing. No prior lifeguard experience is called for, but certification may be needed before early.
- Graduation from high school or current student in strong academic standing.
- Minimum age of 16 years.
- Capacity to obtain lifeguard certification (if not previously certified).
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Sturdy swimming expertise and comfort in water.
- Aptitude to communicate effectively with the public.
- Client solution experience is a plus.
- Must pass a background inspect.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor aquatic activities at Angle Lake beach to confirm safety.
- Manage swimmers and enforce pool/beach rules.
- Render first aid and assist accident or injury victims.
- Rescue persons in distress and keep up order.
- Uphold aquatic equipment in decent operating order.
- Maintain the beach orderly, tidy, and litter-free.
- Offer high-quality buyer offering to all patrons.
- Reply participant inquiries in person and over the telephone.
- Supply details about aquatic plan policies and schedules.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

- Must be at least 16 years longstanding.
- High school diploma or current student in great standing.
- Capacity to pass a background check.
- Must be capable to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical aptitude to perform rescues and stand for extended periods.
