Job Description

The 180 Fighter Wing/LRS in Toledo, Ohio, is hiring a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (GS-0346-12) to oversee, straight, and carry out deployment guidance and logistics planning for the wing.

As the Installation Deployment Officer, you’ll act for the Commander on deployment actions supporting Aerospace Expeditionary Forces, contingency operations, and exercises.

Qualification

To qualify for this GS-12 LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST role, you must have specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the federal offering.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handle, straight, and put in place nearby formulation and publication of installation deployment guidance located on higher headquarters regulations.
  • Serve as the Installation Deployment Officer (IDO), acting for the Commander on deployment actions for AEF, contingency operations, OOTW, and exercises.
  • Examine USAF, NGB, and MAJCOM deployment procedures to analyze bearing and provide modifications for the wing and subordinate units.
  • Form deployment policy and procedures for integrated efforts of aircraft maintenance, supply, transportation, civil engineering, operations, and supported units.
  • Confirm units gather pre-execution and command and control requirements for deployments.
  • Analyze time-phased force deployment needs to create blueprint annexes and schedules for wing deployment execution.
  • Scheme and organize logistics war planning and mission necessary deployment operations.
  • Build and carry out policy programs and procedures for exact management of Wing Logistics planning.
