The Department of the Navy is hiring a Machinist Leader (WL 10) for its Detail Loma Complex in San Diego, California.

This full-time federal post involves setting up and running conventional and computer numerical control (CNC) machine utilities such as lathes, vertical and horizontal boring mills, milling machines, shapers, planers, grinders, thread cutters, and drills.

You’ll function with precision instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and comparators to attain exact dimensions and tolerances. This role demands planning and laying out operate from blueprints, worksheets, and drawings, even when info is missing or incorrect.
