The Indian Health Service (IHS) is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for the New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center (NSRTC) in Acoma, New Mexico. This role performs journeyman-level installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility systems across multiple trades, covering plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and HVAC.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform journeyman-level installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility systems such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and HVAC.
- Install, inspect, repair, and uphold plumbing, piping, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems.
- Construct, modify, and repair structural and non-structural building components such as doors, windows, walls, flooring, cabinetry, and finishes.
- Get ready and paint interior and exterior surfaces to keep up appearance and functionality.
- Perform exterior facility maintenance covering grounds, drainage, fencing, walkways, irrigation systems, snow and ice removal.
- Perform secondary roofing, concrete function, locksmithing, and light welding as needed.
- Ensure all perform complies with safety codes and regulations.
- Back patient care and workforce operations by keeping up a protected and functional environment.
