Salary: $127,529 - $229,985 per year.

To qualify, you must gather the fundamental Physician Assistant conditions: a master's degree (or bachelor's with one year PA background), winning passage of the PANCE, and a packed, unrestricted license in any US state or territory. Grade determinations (PA-I, PA-II, PA-III) are based on experience and education.

• Master's degree in any discipline OR a bachelor's degree in any discipline with one year of expertise as a Physician Assistant.
• Successfully passed the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) or in the procedure of taking the exam.
• Currently grip, or will keep, a complete and unrestricted license to practice in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
• PA-I (entry level): No know-how beyond elementary needs. Must reveal ability to perform patient history and physical, formulate a treatment plan, and offer care aligned with existing concepts.
• PA-II (intermediate): Two years of successful practice as a PA, OR completion of a VA-sponsored or accredited PA postgraduate residency plan, OR a doctoral degree in a health-related field. Must demonstrate abilities to analyze intricate medical obstacles, function autonomously, and perform in interdisciplinary teams.
• PA-III (full performance): Three years of thriving practice as a PA, OR completion of a PA postgraduate residency plus one year of practice, OR a doctoral degree plus one year of practice. Must display expertise in evaluating patient care delivery systems, diagnosing multi-symptomatic patients, and leading clinical adjusts.
• Graduate PAs without licensure may be appointed temporarily for up to two years under 38 U.S.C. § 7405(c)(2)(B).
