The Hercules Police Department is accepting applications for Police Officer Trainee. This is a non-sworn, training-level post for individuals who haven’t yet finished a Fundamental P.O.S.T. Academy.
As a trainee, your principal responsibility is to take part in a P.O.S.T.-certified police academy to develop the minimum qualifications needed to turn into an entry-level sworn Hercules Police Officer.
The department will sponsor your academy training, setting you on a way to a meaningful path in law enforcement.
Qualification
To qualify for the Police Officer Trainee post, you must hand in a P.O.S.T. Entry-Level Law Enforcement Test Battery (PELLETB) T-Score of 45 or better, issued within the past 18 months on formal agency letterhead. Candidates who don’t attach this score won’t relocate forward.
Role Responsibilities
Take part in and successfully complete a P.O.S.T.-certified police academy.nUpon academy graduation, finalize the Patrol Field Training Program.nPatrol assigned spheres to guarantee security of life and property, deter crime, and report unsafe conditions.nRespond to emergency and non-emergency calls for offering.nEnforce state, nearby, and federal laws.
