Qualification

To qualify for this GS-12 Program Analyst position.. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include analyzing program performance data to investigate trends and non-compliance issues and recommending changes or improvements.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Role Responsibilities

Employ investigative and analytical techniques to gather process performance data needed to evaluate various departmental programs.

  • Evaluate Quality Performance System (QPS) data, Deficiency reports, Discrepancy Logs, Audit Action records, Rework Reports, and other Inspection Verification Reports in support of process improvement programs.
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations and program effectiveness.
  • Make recommendations on appropriate actions to resolve instances of program noncompliance and reverse adverse trends.
  • Coordinate continuous process improvement initiatives as assigned, and coordinate department level audit responses.
  • Enter data into an organized record keeping/database system.
