The City of Lemoore Police Department is accepting submissions for Reserve Police Officer at Levels I, II, and III. This is an spare aid, non-competitive post narrow to 999 hours per fiscal year, paid hourly at the incoming step for a Police Officer.
Reserve Officers perform law enforcement duties such as patrol, traffic enforcement, crime prevention, investigation, and public solution calls.

Qualification
Reserve Police Officer you must have a sound California Driver License and a P.O.S.T. Certificate at the level called for for the role. Education equivalent to twelfth grade completion is needed. No prior experience is needed, but training modules must be finished as specified.
- Legitimate California Driver License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
- P.O.S.T. Certificate at Level I, II, or III as called for for the role.
- Education: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
- Level III Reserve: Thriving completion of Module III from an approved P.O.S.T. Elementary Academy Course (Penal Code sections 830.6(a)(1) and 832.6(a)(3)).
- Level II Reserve: Winning completion of Modules III and II from an approved P.O.S.T. Core Academy Course (Penal Code sections 830.6(a)(1) and 832.6(a)(2)).
- Level I Reserve: Thriving completion of Modules III, II, and I from an approved P.O.S.T. Fundamental Academy Course.
- Must be fit to meet physical and psychological standards for peace officers.
- No felony convictions and ability to pass background investigation.
Role Responsibilities
Patrol assigned spheres to preserve law and order, prevent crime, and enforce traffic laws.
- Respond to calls for protection of life and property, covering crimes in progress, accidents, and disturbances.
- Carry out investigations: gather evidence, interview victims and witnesses, interrogate suspects.
- Search suspects, vehicles, and buildings for evidence or contraband.
- Assist search and arrest warrants; make arrests under federal, state, and area laws.
- Perform booking procedures and transport prisoners to county jail.
- Get ready reports on activities, arrests, and incidents; testify in court.
- Straight traffic and control crowds during special events or emergencies.
