Provide institutional safety scheme guidance and oversight to Centers, Enterprise Bodies, and Programs across the Agency, such as commercial partners and Federal tenants.

• Create and benchmark policy for Agency and partner operations related to safety and occupational health.
• Form observations and recommendations to experienced managers to drive changes in safety and health policy, procedures, threat mitigation strategies, and collaborative work initiatives.
• Prioritize operate and integrate overlapping jobs performed by Institutional Safety Management Office workforce, contract team, Center pros, and Agency operating groups to meet strategic aims.
• Build elements of an Agency strategy to grow awareness and understanding of the multi-employer worksite doctrine within NASA’s internal corporate environment and with commercial partners.
• Grow an integrated strategy to advance coordinated duties and initiatives of the Occupational Safety, Industrial/Infrastructure Safety, and Workflow Safety plan domains.
• Oversee development of new instruments, procedures, metrics, assessments, training, and communications designed to enhance the Institutional Safety Scheme.
• Design and execute an audit and assessment plan for the Occupational Safety scheme field, focused on Center Plan Reviews and rollout of Institutional Safety Authority and a Center-level Safety Management System.
