Reporting to a Special Education Administrator, you will provide services to students ages 3 to 21 with a range of moderate to severe disabilities.
You will lead the IEP team to develop data-driven academic and behavioral goals, design curriculum and program strategies aligned with each student's learning level, and continually assess progress toward IEP goals. Teaching environments include resource rooms and self-contained classrooms at the high school level.

Salary & Compensation
Salary: $40,000 - $68,409 per year.
Qualification
Candidates must hold or be eligible for a valid Washington State teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement. Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide special education services to students with moderate to severe disabilities.
- Lead the IEP team in developing student learning and behavioral goals.
- Design and implement curriculum and instructional strategies suited to individual student needs.
- Assess student progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Supports a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Conditions & Requirements
- Full-time position, 185 days per school year.
- Regular and reliable attendance required.
- Must pass a background check.
- Compliance with ESD 112 policies and procedures.
