- Experience in street maintenance, construction, or related field preferred.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment such as pavers, melters, distributors, and loaders.
- Knowledge of asphalt and concrete repair techniques including patching, overlays, crack sealing, and curb/sidewalk replacement.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Role Responsibilities
Perform repairs to asphalt and gravel road surfaces including patching, overlays, and crack sealing.
- Operate specialized equipment such as pavers, melters, distributors, and loaders.
- Load and haul material for street maintenance and repair.
- Perform concrete curb and sidewalk repair and replacement using concrete saws, jack hammers, and specialized raising equipment.
- Perform street cleaning, boulevard, ditch, and right-of-way cleaning.
- Maintain catch basins, storm sewer inlets, and outlets.
- Inspect and maintain city streets, rights-of-way, and signs.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations as needed.
Conditions & Requirements
Full-time, non-exempt, benefit-eligible, union position.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor.

Competitive hourly wage of $34.60
