SURFACE MAINTENANCE REPAIRER, LOGISTICS Job in Latham

Salary: $31.91 - $37.24 per hour.

This role is unseal to present participants of the National Guard and Reserves, as well as those willing to join the NY Army National Guard. Military grade requirement: Enlisted. You must have 12 months of specialized experience in mechanical repairs using hand and power utilities.

• Military Grades: Enlisted (E-1 through E-9).
• General Expertise: Know-how or training demonstrating knowledge of equipment to perform routine roles and easy preventative maintenance duties, using common resources and equipment.
• Specialized Background: 12 months of expertise or training using common hand and power instruments and a minor range of test and measurement devices to make mechanical repairs.
• Know-how removing, adjusting, replacing, cleaning, and installing various portions, components, and accessories.
• Core understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic theory as applied to vehicles.
• Ability to swap, apt, install, and build adjustments on vehicle systems.
• Understanding of the makeup and operation of various person systems and their interrelationships.
• Aptitude to go through and interpret pieces lineups, manufacturer repair manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Education: Not relevant for this role.
• Must be willing to join the NY Army National Guard if not by now a participant.

Perform restricted diagnosis, routine repairs, and maintenance on combat, tactical, commercial, and special aim vehicles and equipment.

• Assist higher graded mechanics in the performance of maintenance tasks.
• Use common hand and power tools, as well as test and measurement devices, to make mechanical repairs.
• Strip, adjust, substitute, wipe down, and install various sections, components, and accessories.
• Read and interpret portions sets, manufacturer repair manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Follow safety practices and procedures to uphold a secure and tidy work environment.
• May require to drive a motor vehicle and possess a legitimate driver's license.
• Function irregular or overtime hours as needed to back operational conditions.
