Qualification
To qualify for the Technical Maintenance Specialist role, you should have know-how in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a hefty industrial or sturdy waste environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is needed, along with technical training or certification in a related field.

- Two or more years of expertise in mechanical maintenance, repair, or a related trade.

- Legitimate Florida driver's license with a tidy driving record.
- Background with welding, fabrication, or metalworking is preferred.
- Certification in diesel mechanics, HVAC, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
- Capacity to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
Role Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on landfill hefty equipment such as compactors, dozers, and excavators.
- Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, pumps, and hydraulic components.
- Inspect and uphold facility infrastructure such as gates, fences, and drainage systems.
- Document all maintenance activities and report equipment matters to supervisors.
- Support with emergency repairs to minimize operational downtime.
- Keep up inventory of spare sections and tools, and confirm perform spheres are wipe down and protected.
- Work equipment as needed to test repairs or back operations.
- Track all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
