• GS-07 Level: Must have at least 1 year at the lower-level GS-06, covering insight of Army education and training programs, principles and procedures.
• Experience in performing meetings and counseling techniques; training techniques and instruction ways; assignment analysis procedures; learning procedures; curriculum development; training evaluations; education and training systems and solutions.
• Reliable writing skills; editing practices; instructional media submission; training reporting; plan and curriculum validation; implementation procedures.
• Expertise scheduling training events and facilities. Supporting assistance visits and training meetings; assisting in function center and person post qualification standard development; education institution registration needs; military personnel classification system and policies.
• Know-how with communicative interpersonal skill submissions and distance learning concepts.
• Background as a participant and presenter during training and military or civilian conference events.
• GS-06 Level: Must have knowledge, expertise, or training equivalent to at least 1 year at the lower-level GS-06, with the matching specialized know-how fields as GS-07.
• No substitution of education for background is permitted for this occupational series and grade.

Assist with forecasting, allocating, and monitoring the usage of training ammunition for the command.

• Form recommendations for the reallocation and/or re-forecasting of ammunition to aid training events.
• Assess, validate, monitor and create recommendations concerning the forecasting of person training conditions for subordinate elements.
• Identify training chances and arrange with higher headquarters to obtain school training quotas (Service, NCO, Special, etc.) to encounter command needs.
• Organize through higher headquarters the request for unique internal training course establishment and their availability through the training reservation automation system.
• Confirm ammunition requests handed in by subordinate units are supported by training schemes.
• Function as the main assistant to the experienced training technician/NCO within the operations and training area.
• Help with the accomplishment of operate performed in the domains of operations and training under the direction of the training officer.

Membership in the Illinois National Guard and in the military grade listed (enlisted, NTE E9) is required before efficient date of placement.
