The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is hiring a Transportation Security Officer (TSO) for Grand Forks International Airport (GFK) in North Dakota. Role Responsibilities
Operate screening equipment (X-ray, metal detectors, etc.) to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo, and on passengers.nPerform physical searches including pat-downs, bag searches, and lifting/carrying items up to 50 lbs.nControl terminal entry and exit points to ensure only authorized access.nInteract with the public, provide directions, and respond to inquiries professionally.nMaintain focus and awareness in a stressful environment with noise, distractions, and time pressure.nApply risk-based security screening protocols and adapt to changing procedures.nRetain and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) consistently.nAttend mandatory training, which may require travel for 3-6 weeks away from the airport of record.
