The City of Toledo is hiring a Water Treatment Maintenance Worker to aid the maintenance of mechanical equipment at water treatment facilities.
Under general supervision, you’ll assist journeymen and experienced maintenance workers in dismantling, repairing, and reassembling motors, pumps, and related equipment.

Role Responsibilities
Assist senior plant maintenance worker or journeyman in dismantling, repairing, and reassembling motors, pumps, and related equipment.
- Act as a safety individual during maintenance duties.
- Grease and oil moving parts of engines and other mechanical equipment.
- Link, suitable, trim, and thread pipe and conduit.
- Transport instruments and equipment for journeyman or experienced maintenance worker.
- Drill holes in concrete, metal, and wood.
- Aid with connecting fitting of pipes and valves.
- Drive light truck to select up sections and supplies and transport them to role sites.
- Load and unload supplies and resources from truck.
- Tidy and police domain after post completion.
Conditions & Requirements
Must be capable to function under general supervision.
- Must be fit to abide by directions from journeymen, tradesmen, or higher level water maintenance workers.
- Must be capable to perform physical jobs including lifting, carrying, and operating tools.
- Must have a valid driver's license to run a light truck.
- Must be fit to perform in a water treatment plant environment.
