Salary & Compensation

Duties & Responsibilities
- Keep up NSB aircraft, facilities, and ground aid equipment in mission-ready status.
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Search & Rescue aircraft in compliance with FAA and OSHA regulations.
- Track manufacturers' technical maintenance manuals for all repair function.
- Act as flight crew chief and assist with rescue and recovery responsibilities as directed.
- Uphold and repair ground support equipment and vehicles.
- Make sure all maintenance activities are documented accurately.
- Participate in pre-employment, random, post-accident, sensible suspicion, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug/alcohol testing as required by federal law.
- Respond to emergency call-outs as needed.
