Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Maintain NSB aircraft, facilities, and ground support equipment in mission-ready status.

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Search & Rescue aircraft in compliance with FAA and OSHA regulations.
• Follow manufacturers' technical maintenance manuals for all repair work.
• Act as flight crew chief and assist with rescue and recovery duties as directed.
• Maintain and repair ground support equipment and vehicles.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are documented accurately.
• Participate in pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug/alcohol testing as required by federal law.
• Respond to emergency call-outs as needed.

• Must be able to work in remote Arctic conditions.
• May be required to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
