The Bureau 4 Prisons, Central Office in Washington, DC, is hiring an Auditor (Audit Manager) for the Program Review Branch.
In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day operations of the branch, overseeing team auditors and securing audits comply with Typically Accepted State Accounting Standards (GAGAS). You’ll assess and approve audit programs, priorities, and methodologies, and monitor performance to guarantee accuracy.

Qualification
To qualify for this GS-14 Auditor (Audit Manager) role.. You must gather a basic need: a degree in auditing or a related field (firm administration..). Finance.. Public administration.. Or accounting).. Or a combination of education and at least 4 years of performance auditing expertise. You must also grip a Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Public Accountant certificate, or have completed substantial coursework in auditing/accounting (e.g., 15 semester hours).

- At least one year of specialized expertise equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13).
