The County of Hawai`i Department of Public Works – Building Division is hiring a Building Permit Clerk (SR-13) for an immediate permanent full-time vacancy in Hilo.
This role is the frontline for building permit processing: you will receive building plans and applications over the counter, check for accuracy and completeness, and approve simple plans under specific conditions.
Complex projects and electrical or plumbing applications are referred to technical staff.
Qualification
