Job Description
King County’s Public Health-Seattle & King County Administrative Offerings Division is hiring a Chief of Community Contracting Improvements (Special Projects Manager III) to lead and assist teams in improving the complete lifecycle of contracting with community institutions.
The department contracts with hundreds of area bodies each year to hand over solutions straight to residents. This role will develop and lead the task setup securing each improvement has inclusive design, leadership guidance, productive communication, and adjust management.
You’ll create conditions for venture leads and subject matter pros to succeed in an environment of high expectations and visibility from County leadership and the public. One or more process improvement positions will report to this role.
This is a term-limited temporary (TLT) post anticipated to last 18 months, eligible for advantages.
Salary & Compensation
Salary: $136,281 - $172,744 per year.
Qualification
This role requires an experienced task manager with a track record of organizing, leading, and supporting teams through complex routine improvements.
- Know-how managing intricate projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of contracting processes, particularly with community-based institutions.
- Aptitude to lead inclusive design and development efforts.
- Robust communication and change management expertise.
- Expertise in a government or public health setting preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and aid teams undertaking procedure improvements across the packed contracting lifecycle.
- Create venture layout making sure each improvement has essential supports.
- Make sure inclusive design and development of improvement initiatives.
- Protected leadership guidance and buyoff.
- Run efficient communication and rollout modify management.
- Produce conditions for task leads and subject matter specialists to succeed.
- Manage one or more workflow improvement positions.
- Report to County leadership and oversee public visibility.
