Qualification

- Present and sound Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of two years of full-time clinical nursing know-how within the last five years.
- Expertise in wound care or related specialty.
- Aptitude to assume charge nurse responsibility.
- Insight of nursing theories, principles, and practices.
- Ability to evaluate patient outcomes and adjust interventions.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Wound care certification (e.g., WOCN) preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Offer frank patient care in wound care settings.
- Register theoretical nursing concepts within established policies and procedures.
- Initiate and perform nursing interventions with less predictable outcomes.
- Evaluate outcomes of nursing interventions for assigned patient population.
- Assume charge nurse responsibility as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary crew to develop care blueprints.
- Educate patients and families on wound management.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
- Participate in caliber improvement initiatives related to wound care.

- Thriving completion of background review and fingerprinting.
- Ability to function full-time schedule covering weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
