The North Slope Borough is hiring a Community Health Aide to deliver essential healthcare services in the Village Health Clinics in Barrow, Alaska.

Qualification

Role Responsibilities
Provide primary health care services including acute, chronic, and preventative care to village residents.
- Deliver urgent and emergency medical services within village boundaries.

- Follow the Community Health Aide Manual (eCHAM) for all clinical procedures.
- Adhere to CHA/Trainee to CHA/Practitioner guidelines from the Community Health Aide Training Centers.
- Support the goals of the Community Health Aide Program by promoting health and wellness in the community.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in continuing education and training as required.
- Assist with clinic operations and inventory management as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
